  1. 1. Chrome plated shafts

Hard Chrome plated shafts are known as chrome plated rods or chrome plated bars also. This series product is another main product line of our factory, it is mostly used to manufacture and repair the hydraulic piston rods. Our hard chrome plated shaft are produced from steel round rod by high precise grinding, polishing, and chrome plated to a certain thickness on the external surface, the thickness of chrome plated layer is usually min. 20 microns. The material of the chrome plated shafts of our factoy can be carbon steel as CK45 (this is known as CK45 chrome plated bar also), SAE 4140, and stainless steel grades 304, 304L, 316, 316L. Our chrome plated tube is produced from seamless hollow bar, by polishing the outside surface and chrome plated to a certain thickness. Stainless steel / duplex steel U-bend tubes for heat exchangers

Heat exchanger tubes can also be delivered as U-bent tube / U bend pipe, manufactured according to the common heat exchanger standards. Our basic specification for u bend pipes is ASTM A213/A213M, ASTM A 312/312M, EN 10216-5, and we can also follow various specifications on customers’ requests.

Stainless steel instrument tubing

Younglee manufacture instrument tubing in a wide range of corrosion-resistant stainless steels and nickel alloys covering outside diameters from OD 2 mm to 50 mm. All sizes of instrument tubing are supplied with smooth surfaces and precise dimensional tolerances reducing the risk of leakages when connecting tubes with couplings.

Additional information: What is duplex stainless steel?

They’re characterised by large chromium (19–28 percent) and molybdenum (around 5 percent) and reduced nickel contents compared to austenitic stainless steels.

Duplex stainless steels have a mixed microstructure of both austenite and ferrite, the goal being to create a 50/50 combination, though, in commercial metals, the combination might be 40/60 respectively.

The most utilized duplex stainless steels will be the 2205 (22 percent Chromium, 5% Nominal) along with also the 2507 (25% Chromium, 7 percent Nominal); 2507 is called “super duplex” because of its high resistance to rust. The mechanical components of Duplex steels are roughly double those with striking austenitic stainless steels,  which means we can use duplex steel to design thinner gauge tubing. And duplex steel’s resistance to stress corrosion cracking is much superior to 316 stainless steel in chloride solutions. Duplex steel includes a ductile or brittle transition in approximately -50 degrees.

Duplex steels may be easily welded and formed, like austenitic grades. Based on nickel, chromium and molybdenum material, duplex stainless steels are broken up into four chief classes: lean duplex, duplex, super duplex and duplex. This family of stainless steel has great benefits in both engineered and material fabrication expenses.
